The renovation has begun!
After seven years of planning, obtaining approvals, raising funds, applying for grants, and many other challenges, we are pleased to say that we have appointed a contractor, NJM Building Contractors Ltd, who have now begun the renovation of our Grade II-listed Georgian chapel.
The work is expected to run for ten months and will provide better drainage, better access and better thermal insulation. The project will also reinstate oak glazed porch doors, internal Georgian glazed doors and new heat and lighting removing the 20th century strip heaters and lights.
We are grateful to everyone who has donated, fund raised and supported us in many ways. We still have a shortfall of £65,000, but trust that the Lord will provide the resources we need.
