My name is Eva Lowe and I am originally from the Czech Republic. I’ve been living in England since September 2006.
I live in a little village called Ettington together with my husband, Steve, and our three children Barunka, Benny and Becky.
I’ve been working for Hook Norton Baptist Church since September 2019 as a Children & Families Worker providing for children from 0 to 18. I run Toddlers group, “Stay and Play”, also with St. Peter’s church, we run school clubs at Hook Norton Primary School. The lunchtime club is called ROCK (Relay On Christ’s Kindness) and the after-school club, JAM (Jesus and me).
I also work as children’s worker for Stour Valley Baptist Church in Shipston on Stour. I have been working for this church since October 2017.
In my spare time, I am studying a bachelor’s degree in psychology with the Open University. I like sports, reading and enjoy good movie. I love knitting, and crochet.
I have been working with children since I was 19. I worked with all sort of children’s groups, mainly involving some sports activity. The age range was from 0 to 16. I have always enjoyed work with children and young people. The children’s world is so open and full of adventure, so I try my best to support their imagination and encourage them to keep this way of thinking even if they become teenagers.
I love my job!
