Following the relaxation of the Covid-19 lock-down restrictions and following advice from HM Government and the Baptist Union of Great Britain, we are delighted to announce our intention to re-open for corporate worship on Sunday 19th July at 10:30am. Meanwhile, we continue to publish virtual services on our YouTube channel each Sunday.
The services will be different from the past as we abide by the guidelines given so, initially, there will be no singing, but plenty of worship. You will need to bring your own bibles as the church bibles will not be available. Prayers will be engaging and, of course, God’s Word via the sermon will bring uplifting teaching as you learn more about our loving heavenly Father.
Hand sanitiser will be available at each entrance of the buildings and we would ask that everyone uses it as they enter and leave. We love close fellowship but for now, we ask you and your household remain a minimum of 2 metres from anyone else. The chairs have been arranged to help you do so, and if we run out of distance spacing downstairs, we can offer space in the galleries too!
Refreshments will be served after the service at tables to prevent queuing.
So if you have missed coming together to worship, come along on Sunday 19th July for the 10:30am service. If you haven’t visited before and want to come and see the real thing, you are warmly invited to come along too!
If you can’t join us but want to remain involved, get in touch and we will let you know how you can.
