Calling all Hooky Christians!

It is an interesting static that out of the 2,500 or so folk living in Hook Norton, only around 2% regularly worshipped in the two Christian churches in the village; St Peter's church and the Baptist church, pre-Covid-19 lockdown! According to the 2011 census, 60% of the population identified as Christian, and yet less than 6% regularly attended church at least once a week, if you believe Wikipedia. Lent Course – 2021 – Poverty

Hook Norton and surrounding Churches Together invite you to an Online Lent Course looking at the church's response to poverty. Including guest speaker, Emma Kennedy from St Mary's Church, Chipping Norton, sharing the vision of "The Branch" initiative followed by a video on the work of Christians Against Poverty.

The M&E consultants working on the electrical and heating design have finalised their specification and submitted them to our architect for inclusion in the final specification documents for tendering. There were a few queries around siting of the oil-fired boiler and flue, the routing of cables and pipes to / from the chapel, and the requirements for air extraction, but these have now been resolved.
