Why is our church called a Baptist Church?

Because as Christians, we believe in believers baptism. We believe that baptism should follow when someone makes their own declaration of repentance and faith. Renovation Update – 6th October 2021

The architect, Peter Preston, continues to finalise the detailed drawings of the internal works of the chapel. This work is expected to be completed by the end of October when the quanitity surveyor will then price the scope of works. We are hoping to finalise everything ready for the issuing of the tender documents before the end of the year. Harvest Thanksgiving Service

This Sunday at 10:30am we will be celebrating and giving thanks to God for our Harvest! This is an opportunity to bring produce, food stuffs (inc. tinned and packaged) to God in recognition of His provision for us. It is also a time to reflect and pray for those that do not have a harvest due to drought, famine, war, etc.! After the service, the produce will be distributed to some needy families in the village and the Chipping Norton Foodbank. All are welcome to come and join us!

Alpha Course – Last week to register!

What is the point of life? What is the evidence that Jesus was a real person? Why does the church exist today? Perhaps you have some other questions you would like to ask. Come along and join us at Alpha: an 11-week course exploring the Christian faith with opportunities to ask those questions that you may have. Still Waters Café reopens!

We are back! Still Waters Café re-opens this Wednesday (16th September) from 10am to 12 noon! Come in and enjoy a cuppa and a chat. Also, the chapel will be open for private prayer, so if you want to soak in some peace and listen out for God, do come along! All are welcome!

Holiday Club of Wonder – CANCELLED

It is with a heavy heart that we have had to cancel the remaining days of the Holoday Club of Wonder. We had a great time this morning with those who came and joined us, but we do not have sufficient numbers registered for the rest of the week.
