An Indian Odyssey – Day Ten

I just couldn’t believe how quick this week had gone. This morning, I had the privilege of preaching at the church again. I preached on Psalm 23 on how Father God is our Good Shepherd, how he provides, protects and directs our lives. Lee shared some prophetic words, and we prayed for many people afterwards.

I felt particularly drawn to talk to a young lady and felt the Lord had given me a word for her. I shared it with her and Pastor Paul and prayed that the Lord would confirm or otherwise to her.
I feel so blessed to be able to minister to these folks.

Afterwards we had lunch at Pastor Paul and Anu’s home and spent the afternoon relaxing before returning to the church where the children had laid on a dance show for us. They were great and showed great enthusiasm in what they did.

We said our goodbyes as we were flying out early next morning. My heart is full from the warmth and welcome shown by the children and all the staff. An experience I will never forget.

Finally, back to Paul and Anu’s for coffee and goodbyes. I am grateful to God for this wonder family and friends who, filled with His love and compassion, are following His call to care for these children and give them hope! May the Lord continue to bless them in their ministry and provide for all their needs.

If, after reading this blog, you feel drawn to support the work orphanage through prayer and / or financially, do get in touch with me.
